  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. grounded allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. grounded nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup. onion, diced
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 5 tbsp. butter
  • 3 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups. beef broth
  • 1 cup. heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. Dijon mustard

Preparation

Step 1:
With a bowl, start by taking apart the packaged beef meatballs, and mix with bread crumbs, parsley, allspice, nutmeg, onion, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and egg.
Step 2:
Roll the mix into 12 meatballs. Then, coat olive oil and 1 tbsp. butter on a pan with medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until it turns golden brown.
Step 3:
Place the meatballs onto a plate and cover with aluminum foil. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Step 4:
Add 4 tbsp. butter and flour to the pan, and whisk it until it turns brown. Pour in beef broth, heavy cream, Worchestershire sauce, and dijon mustard. Lower the heat and let it simmer until the sauce thickens.
Step 5:
Then transfer the meatball and sauce onto a separate bowl. Serve with a base of choice.
